There was a time when all sorts of things were coming in and out of Cardiff docks. Here’s some flat wood for those interested, but what is weird about this image is the tidy piles underneath and then the madness of the planks on top, apparently all trying to send themselves off to where they should be going.
Photographs from the Yesterday series are produced from 35mm black and white negatives or 35mm colour transparencies taken between 40 and 50 years ago by graphic designer and artist, David Hopkins.
