A dismal grey sky does little to reduce the impact of the Statue of Liberty in New York City. The title of this image, Grey Liberty in a grey sky, sums it up really.
 
In fact, the greyness seems to provide the perfect backdrop, highlighting many of the individual pieces that were used to create this towering structure. Who knew that it was something of a flatpack gift from France.
