In the summer of 1974, there was a Miners’ Gala in Cardiff. This is one image from a series featuring some of the people, parades and protests involved. This particular photograph captures one of the marching bands about to set off, but with some of the musicians more concerned about being photographed.
Photographs from the Yesterday series are produced from 35mm black and white negatives or 35mm colour transparencies taken between 40 and 50 years ago by graphic designer and artist, David Hopkins.
This photograph is a high-quality black and white photoprint on 265gsm gloss and is supplied with a card window mount. Prints and mounts are available for A4 (297mm x 210mm) or 12inch x 16inch frames. Prices for bespoke size prints can be provided on request.
