In the summer of 1974, there was a Miners’ Gala in Cardiff. This is one image from a series featuring some of the people, parades and protests involved.
This photograph shows something that you don’t often see these days, a guy walking down the road carrying a bass drum. Sure, it’s taken slightly out of context without any of his accompanying band mates, but he does seem to have the look of someone who’s been left behind.
Photographs from the Yesterday series are produced to order from the original 35mm black and white negatives. Every print is a high-quality black and white giclée photoprint on 265gsm gloss paper and is supplied with a card window mount.
Prints with mounts are available to fit an A4 (297mm x 210mm), A3 (297mm x 420mm) or A2 (420mm x 594mm) frame. The print in these three sizes is also available framed in a black wood glazed frame. Prices for bespoke size prints can be provided on request.
The price of every photograph includes appropriate packaging and a UK or international tracked delivery service.
