In the summer of 1974, there was a Miners’ Gala in Cardiff. This is one image from a series featuring some of the people, parades and protests involved.
 
This photograph captures one of the many marching bands and some of the interested individuals, and a dog, watching from the sidelines. As with all images, the more you look, the more you see.
