In the summer of 1974, there was a Miners’ Gala in Cardiff. This is one image from a series featuring some of the people, parades and protests involved. This photograph captures a group of drummers wearing 1970s flairs, with someone watching from behind a tree.
 
Photographs from the Yesterday series are produced from 35mm black and white negatives or 35mm colour transparencies taken between 40 and 50 years ago by graphic designer and artist, David Hopkins.
